With the WSL transfer window slamming shut on Thursday 3 September, City’s First Team squad is now locked in ahead of this weekend’s curtain-raiser.
The Blues come into the new season as reigning WSL champions, with our defence of the crown beginning against Birmingham City.
Kick-off at the Joie Stadium is set for 14:30 (UK) on Sunday 6 September, with tickets available to purchase by clicking here.

Four new faces have come through the door for City ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with Beth Mead and Niamh Charles joining early in the summer from title rivals Arsenal and Chelsea respectively.
Further reinforcements have arrived in the form of German international defender Carlotta Wamser and England goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse, the latter on a short-term loan deal.
Meanwhile, Eve Annets, Naomi Layzell, Codie Thomas and Lily Murphy have all gone out on loan for the 2026/27 campaign.
