Previous meeting

You have to go all the way back to 2012 to see the last competitive match between the two as we faced each other in what was then named the FA Women’s Premier League.

The tightly contested game ended in a 4-4 draw with Sarah Buffel, Sarah Danby, Chelsea Nightingale and Lynda Shepherd on the scoresheet for the Blues. 

Last time out

City left it late in another entertaining performance at the Joie Stadium as we came away with a 4-2 victory.

Grace Fisk’s 90th-minute own goal and a Lauren Hemp effort deep into added time maintained our 100% start in the WSL this season.

It had looked like we’d have to settle for a point as stoppage time approached, with Hemp’s early effort cancelled out by Alice Bergstrom and Vivien Endemann strikes in an end to end first 45.

Bunny Shaw bundled home an equaliser from close-range on the stroke of the break having hit the post earlier in the half, with a dramatic turnaround then completed late on.
