Lauren Hemp and Bunny Shaw have been shortlisted for the WSL Player of the Month award for September.

Both players have had a pivotal role in our 100% start to the 2026/27 league campaign, beating Birmingham City, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Charlton.

Vote for Hemp or Shaw now

No player has scored more than Shaw, who has four goals, with our incredible Jamaican striker seeking to win the Golden Boot for the fourth season in a row.

She netted twice in our opener against Birmingham, with one strike in each of the Villa and Liverpool victories.

Shaw also has an assist in what has been a superb start to the campaign for her.

Meanwhile, Hemp has celebrated passing 200 City appearances at the start of the season with fine form of her own.

She has scored twice - both against Liverpool - and provided an assist too.

The pair are up against Chelsea’s Lucy Bronze, Liverpool’s Vivian Endemann, London City Lionesses’ Danielle van de Donk, Birmingham star Oceane Hurtre and Spurs duo Signe Gaupset and Victoria Pelova.

You can vote for our players now but be quick, as it closes at 11:00 (UK) on Monday 5 October.

The winner will be announced on Thursday 8 October.
