City were back on the grass at the City Football Academy today ahead of Saturday's visit of Ipswich Town...

Having already played Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain in the last six days, it’s been a busy week for Enzo Maresca’s men.

But there’s no rest now, with Gary O’Neil’s promoted side coming to the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

We’ll be aiming to maintain our 100% record at the start of the Premier League season, having won all six games so far.

Meanwhile, Ipswich have enjoyed a strong return to the top-flight, winning three of their six matches so far and sitting firmly in mid-table.

Ahead of the next one, it was all about recovery and putting the final plans in place on the training pitch on Friday.
