The 18-year-old, who featured in the Carabao Cup victory over Huddersfield Town last season, spent 11 years at Manchester City, working through the age groups right up to the first team.
Heskey joined the Under-9s at the City Football Academy and has gone through every age group showcasing his hunger to score and assist his team-mates with his eye-catching dribbling, passing, skills and pace.

In his debut season for the Under-18s in 2024/25, the England youth international totalled 36 goal involvements in 41 appearances across all competitions, helping City win the Under-18 Premier League North title.

In 2025/26, aged 17 at the time, Heskey made the step up to the EDS and continued to dazzle in front of goal with 13 goals and 16 assists in 41 games.
His hard work was rewarded with his senior debut for the Club. He featured as a second half substitute in City’s 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Huddersfield in September 2025 – a moment made extra special when older brother Jaden also made his competitive debut in the same game.

Heskey then went on to help the Under-18s retain the North title before scoring a late winner as City beat Manchester United 2-1 in the FA Youth Cup final at the Joie Stadium.
Everyone at Manchester City would like to wish Reigan the best of luck in this new chapter of his career.
