City remain three points clear at the top of the Premier League after a superb win at Anfield to maintain our run as the only side with a 100% record.
After a goalless first half, City were ruthless with goals from Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki after the home side were reduced to 10 men.
Maresca was delighted to get back on to the pitch after the international break and happy with the performance.
“0-3, Anfield it’s a great result for sure,” the City boss said in his postmatch new conference.
“In this moment, all the organisation needs this kind of win so it’s good for us as coaching staff, players, fan, the organisation. This kind of win is good for all the Club.
“First half we struggled a bit because it was not easy for different reasons but then second half we start working and I’m very, very happy with the three points.”
Jeremy Doku was introduced as a second half substitute and helped change the game with a big hand in Haaland’s opener before scoring a stunning second himself.
Maresca was delighted with his impact and the way the players handled a difficult atmosphere.
“It was just the right time [for him to come on] with the red card,” he added.
“Then the first goal from Erling came from Jeremy coming inside. He helped with many, many things.
“It was not easy for the players but they dealt with the situation very good.
“I said during the week that we need to learn how to deal with the outside noise because of the situation. The noise will always be there.
“We need to learn how to deal with that but at the same time we want to make our noise. That is to win games like we have done today.
“At the end of the game, our fans were singing so the noise was from us not the environment.”
