Elliot Anderson has completed his permanent transfer to Manchester City!

The England international midfielder has signed a five-year deal with Enzo Maresca’s side and joins from Nottingham Forest.

It comes fresh after his impressive exploits at the 2026 World Cup with England where he was an integral part of the Three Lions’ squad who finished third at the prestigious tournament in North America.

For Thomas Tuchel’s side at the competition, he played all eight games and helped his nation to their best finish since 1966.

Anderson’s impressive performances at the World Cup were built on strong foundations laid during two seasons at Forest in the Premier League where he developed in a committed box-to-box midfielder.

In total, the 23-year-old made 90 appearances in all competitions for the City Ground outfit while missing just one Premier League game since the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

That reliability could make him a smart asset in 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League with the midfielder priced at £6.5m in the upcoming game.
