Tireni Aiyegbusi, Marlow Barrett, Caelan Cadamarteri, Theo Carrington, Toran Mathiesen, Xavier Parker, Jaxon Shire, Archie Thornton, Alfie Turley, Javahn Woode, Keir McMeekin and Darren Motsi make up the latest cohort to pen full-time agreements.
The scholarship means they are now on full-time schedules with City and will be working with Lauris Coggin and the Under-18s throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
Marlow Barrett and Xavier Parker both saw appearances under Oliver Reiss in the Under-18s 2025/26 campaign as the pair helped us to secure the Under-18 Premier League North title and FA Youth Cup trophy.
But for the other 10 young prospects, they will be hoping to help City retain our success in the Under-18 Premier League North and FA Youth Cup in their debut seasons.
Tireni Aiyegbusi is a striker who is always looking to be in the right place at the right time in the enemy’s box to help City score.
Caelan Cadamarteri is a technical, forward-thinking attacker who joined City at 15 years old from Sheffield Wednesday and hit the ground running with his speed, link-up play and impressive work rate.
Theo Carrington, like his older brother and former Academy player Ezra, has progressed through all of City’s age groups, developing his craft primarily as a right full-back.
Toran Mathiesen is a brave goalkeeper who is vocal and looks to command his box.
Jaxon Shire is a technical, tenacious holding midfielder who always looks to set the tempo of the match and makes him the perfect fit for City’s style of play.
Archie Thornton brings a composed and levelled head to any defensive line. One of his strongest attributes is his eagerness to play out from the back, often initiating attacks with his impressive passing.
Alfie Turley is a left-footed defender capable of operating at centre-back or full-back. Strong and commanding in defence at one end of the pitch and a desire to have an impact in the attacking third.
Javahn Woode will be looking to showcase his attacking threat this season as the physical, skilful winger will hope to make an impact in the final third as often as possible.
Keir McMeekin joined City from Hearts at 16 years old and the number 10 brings confident link-up play, composure in small pockets and impressive technical ability.
Darren Motsi joined us from Leicester at 15 years old and will be another strong addition to our Under-18s side.
