Oliver Reiss’ newest cohort of young blues were determined to impress and they certainly did so as the squad lifted the Under-18 Premier League North and FA Youth Cup trophies.
In the league, retaining the title is never easy, so the race for silverware was an entertaining and narrow one after Manchester United pushed City to the wire.
The most prestigious trophy in youth football, City had our heart set on looking to lift the FA Youth Cup for a fifth time in the Club’s history.
And it was a final to remember as we beat our cross-city rivals Manchester United in front of 7,000 fans at the Joie Stadium.
But in between those trophy-winning moments was hard work, dedication, teamwork and plenty of goal celebrations as our young blues undoubtedly enjoyed a fruitful 2025/26.
