The Blues shared the spoils with the Toffees after Kerstin Casparij’s opener was cancelled out by Karen Holmgaard first-half header.

And the hosts started brightly at the Joie Stadium with Kerolin Nicoli particularly lively during the opening exchanges.
She then sparked the opener when she darted down the right and crossed into the box where Lily Murphy nodded the ball down for Caspaij to tuck home from close range.
City were well worth our lead, but Everton grew into proceedings as the match progressed and they equalised when a diagonal ball into our box was headed home by Holmgaard.
Honours were even at half-time, but neither team could fully grab the fixture in the second half with clear-cut chances few and far between at both ends.
As a result, the points were shared as the full-time whistle blew in Manchester.
