Just 18 minutes into the second half, our prolific number nine doubled City’s advantage with a header before Aoba Fujino got her first goal of the season on the hour.

The Japan international scored a fine solo goal that nestled into the bottom left corner before she teed up substitute Iman Beney who also scored her first goal of 2026/27 to make it four.
Shaw then topped off the afternoon with her third and final goal before a deserved break with one eye now on next week’s Champions League trip to Inter Milan.
It means she has now scored nine WSL hat-tricks in her 95 goals in her five and a half seasons in England.
