Lauren Hemp was again at the heart of everything good about City's 2025/26 season.

And there was plenty to enjoy, with City winning the domestic double for the first time in our history.

We ended up four points clear of nearest challengers Arsenal at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League before thrashing Brighton 4-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

And Hemp, who joined City eight years ago and has developed into one of the best players in the world, was again stellar.

Whether her thunderous strike in the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium, long, mazy runs down the flank or brilliant whipped crosses, she’s at the peak of her powers.
