He demonstrated all of that, and a flair for entertainment, throughout 2025/26 as he grew into life in the Premier League and beyond.

So much so, he ended the season with 25 goal contributions - comprising of 10 goals and 15 assists across all competitions.
One of those strikes also won him our Goal of the Season.
Controlling a loose ball, Cherki weaved through the Arsenal defence and rolled into the far corner beyond the dive of David Raya to send the Etihad wild.
