The England international arrived from Crystal Palace in January and hit the ground running, playing a key role in FA Cup success and yet another Champions League qualification.
With something of a defensive injury crisis ongoing when his signature was confirmed, Guéhi made his debut just a few days later and earned his first clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Wolves.
He didn’t look back from there, with City playing some exquisite football throughout spring - aided by the solid foundation and progressive passing of the 25-year-old.
Alongside Abdukodir Khusanov, a formidable defensive partnership was formed that especially bore fruit as we won the FA Cup, with Guéhi retaining the trophy after lifting it with Palace the previous year.
His calm head and assured leadership did not go unnoticed in the back end of the season and it’s left the Etihad faithful excited about what’s more to come.
