On our return to action after the extended international break, league leaders City made it six wins out of six in the top-flight with a superb display to extend the lead on second placed Arsenal to three points.
Erling Haaland, Jérémy Doku and Rayan Cherki were all on target in the second half as City also secured successive Anfield league wins for the first time since 1953.
And for the delighted boss, it was both the perfect away performance and also a fitting reward for the amazing backing afforded the Blues by our travelling fans.
“Anfield away 0-3 feels like the perfect day for everyone in this moment, especially the fans, for the club, for the players, the organisation... for everyone so we are very happy,” Maresca said.
“We need to learn how to make our noise to win games.
I’m not thinking about where we can be in two, three or four games… I am just thinking about the next one but I’m happy (with the wins).
“The fans were fantastic, so good. It was so nice to see them at the end so happy.
“They were singing all game. I said in the week bring the voice, bring passion and hopefully we can celebrate at the end.”
