Renowned during his time as a coach for his work with individuals, Maresca arrived in Manchester highly respected amongst the City players.
Since taking charge himself, the boss says his relationship with the squad is no different to his previous stint here.

“No because the way I like to have relationships with the players its quite simple. It doesn’t change,” he said in Thursday’s press conference before we take on Crystal Palace this Friday.
“What changed a lot from my previous time here is that I think 90% of the squad is not here.
