Enzo Fernández has won the September Goal of the Month award.

It was for his first City goal in the 5-3 victory over Sunderland at the Etihad.

Fernández lit the blue touchpaper for an enthralling match with the opener which teed up our fifth successive Premier League win to start the 2026/27 campaign.

With the Black Cats defensive line expecting a free-kick into the box, Fernández whipped in a near post shot from a tight angle that caught out goalkeeper Robin Roefs.
