For McAidoo and the handful Elite Development Squad players who were named in Enzo Maresca’s pre-season squad earlier this week, our clash against the Italian giants will be their first opportunity to impress the new manager ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Kick-off at the Kai Tek Stadium in Hong Kong is set for 12:30 (UK) on Saturday 1 August, with every moment available to watch live on CITY+ for fans with a subscription.

After City’s open training session at the stadium and in front of our fans, McAidoo expressed his excitement ahead of tomorrow’s game and how grateful he is to be learning from some of Europe’s most elite players.
“We are all talented [Academy players] in different ways and the older players have helped us a lot to keep up with the intensity and do the right things on and off the pitch,” said McAidoo.
“[We are] so grateful to them.
“As young players you all want to play in the highest level of games, it’s what we dream of.
“So hopefully we all get our opportunity to show what we can do [against Inter].”
