After his sparkling start to the new campaign, Cherki is keen to continue making a difference at the top end of the pitch.
“I’m very happy because it’s the goal to make it 2-1. I need to help my teammates,” he said in his interview with City Studios after the game.
“I want to give them good passes. I need for me to score a lot of goals for my team.
“I love the fans. And today I think the fans saw a big game.
“I’m very happy for that.”
