The Ghana international joined the Club from Bournemouth in January, having shone for the Cherries in the first half of the season.
He hit the ground running in a City shirt, scoring on his debut in the FA Cup rout of Exeter City.
And it was in that competition where he’d score the outstanding effort of his 11 strikes in 27 appearances.
With the FA Cup final seemingly drifting towards extra time, Semenyo’s instinctive flick into the far corner sent the sky blue half of Wembley into bedlam and earned Pep Guardiola his 20th and final trophy as City boss.
He also helped us to the first of the domestic cup double, scoring in the semi-final win over Newcastle United and playing the whole 90 minutes of the final defeat of Arsenal.
There were seven goals in the Premier League too, including a winner at Leeds United and crucial efforts against the likes of Nottingham Forest and Spurs.
There’s so much to be excited about with what’s to come!
