The Blues youngsters maintained what has been a flying start to the campaign by beating the Black Cats 4-1 at the CFA to make it five wins out of five.
Dexter Oliver, Marlow Barrett, Will Gueke and Heaven Kilwa were all on target to ensure City remain top of the table,
And for Coggin, there were positives aplenty from this latest impressive success.
“I thought it was our most complete performance of the season,” the Lead Coach reflected.
“A lot of positive individual performances, equally the players that came onto the pitch for their first minutes - really pleasing.
“We’ve had some tough games to start the season and different challenges and today Sunderland were really strong and physical, and I thought we dealt with their threats really well.
“The wins are pleasing and the consistency is really impressive but it’s about taking it game by game.
“So, some really good performances - with and without the ball - and now its onto next week and preparing for Everton.”
