The holding midfielder entered the fold in our latest Premier League clash at the Joie Stadium on 71 minutes.
And it wasn’t the most ideal situation with City 3-0 down following goals from Thomas Midwood and Louie Bradbury.
The 18-year-old England youth international showed his experience beyond his years as he helped inject fresh energy into City’s engine room.
A first goal from Xavier Parker from close range sparked a comeback into life before Teddie Lamb got City’s second of the night.
Miles then got in on the act, firing home after quick link-up play with Brooklyn Nfonkeu to draw City level.
But the team went one step further as Dexter Oliver’s curling finish on the brink of full-time confirmed the comeback to earn a second win of 2026/27.
And for Miles, he was delighted to help the team in one of the most entertaining games this season.
“Wow! I mean from sitting on the bench to coming on, it just didn’t look like it was going to go our way,” began Miles.
“Then we got the first and thought yeah we are going to have a bit of rhythm now.
“Then the second came. Then the third came and all of sudden we scored a fourth, had a minute to go and we won the game.
“I haven’t scored in ages,” he added.
“It was good to get on the scoresheet and help the team fight for the three points.”
