After a midweek win over Liverpool, City’s Under-18s were back in action in a double Gameweek which saw us welcome Boro to the City Football Academy on Saturday afternoon.
In our third-to-last game of the campaign, our encounter with Boro was another must-win as City’s young boys in blue continue our fight for the Under-18 Premier League North title against rivals Manchester United.
A triumph on home soil would see City move five points clear of United who have a game in hand, but standing in our way was a Boro side that could cause an upset.
