The second game of our Asia Tour 2026 was played at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in oppressive heat.
But, despite that, City secured the victory thanks to fantastic first half.
Tijjani Reijnders made the first as he played the ball across goal after a couple of stepovers before Rayan Ait-Nouri opened the scoring with a right-foot strike.
The hosts responded almost immediately with a fine low effort from Kim Dae Won.
Dutch ace Reijnders helped City retake the lead when Antoine Semenyo backheeled into his path of the midfielder who finished expertly to put us back in front.
Divin Mubama scored our third, following up a parried effort to chip over goalkeeper Song Bum Keun.
It will have been a pleasing win for Enzo Maresca – his first as City boss – as he looks to follow up with a second victory in the final game of our Asian Tour on Sunday against Atletico Madrid.
